This comprehensive workshop covers two critical yet often misunderstood domains in public procurement: (1) acquisition of information systems and (2) conducting auctions/sales under PPRA (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) rules. Participants will explore the legal, procedural, and technical nuances involved in procuring complex IT systems, along with hands-on guidance on public auctions and disposals.
The session includes step-by-step walkthroughs of preparing tender documents for IT projects, bid evaluation criteria for software and services, and procedures for asset disposal through auction in accordance with Rule 45 of PPRA.
How is this Workshop Helpful?
IT procurement often fails due to vague requirements, misalignment between user and vendor expectations, and poor evaluation design.
